Republicans uniformly oppose this though so we can’t.This is a trigger point for me. Insulin is $300/bottle making it one of the most expensive liquids in the world. Theres NO reason for it! I can can go to almost any country i.e. Canada, Mexico...and get it for $50/bottle. Who pays the most for prescriptions in the world? Thats right. The USA. Here in AZ I like Sinema, but her marriage to the pharma industry infuriates me. I dont understand how we cant get this fixed. It started with Obamacare, which mostly benefitted the healthcare industry, and has progressively gotten worse. This isnt a D or R problem, its a people problem.

Don't forget it was a republican passed law in 2003 or so that specifically banned Medicare from negotiating drug prices.
