Its all about crappy boring games that they dare to call a sport.

Why cant they show one day internationals or even soccer matches live...

problem is that all these companies are capitalist broadcast companies and hence anything that doesnt make money goes into odd hours or will never be aired.. why do you think the olympics were aired during prime time 12 hrs after they were recoreded.. all because of moola making greedy goats.

I wish StarTV broadcasted here... they always showed live, no matter what. Atleast this is what I remember of it. Sure it didnt show American Football and Baseball all the time cause nobody wanted to see that in Asia.

I guess its all has to do with markets.. however it would be nice if a company took a bit of human interest rather than their selfish interest. It would be nice ot have a channel to show other sports round the world than these mainstream american channels..

i think you can call "like" and under estimation.

I tried baseball and got bored watching these guys miss every good oppourtuntiy to hit. I came on, and whacked the ball to mid field first try. Nothing like a bit of beginners luck, but rather I think it was the years of playing cricket with my friends.

I dont understand watching something where you hit the ball once in a blue moon. its too boring to watch for me.
Sure cricket can be boring in the "slog" overs but still once they are over the "Slog" overs things do get exciting. I do not particularly like "test" matches but I do prefer short quick one day internationals. Test cricket requires two good teams or a series to play.. or else its boring.

I've been watching it my whole life. Sure, tests might be a little boring in parts but not for me. I love just listening to it on the radio if I need to do something else at the same time.

What do you mea he did alright in the US Open? He won the damn thing!

I am 22 now.. have been watching cricket from age 5 I think.. I got into mainstream around age 8. That is when I started playing it regularly with my friends. Prior to that I used to watch my brother and his friends play.. I was too young to play with them. But I did enjoy being umpire.
