I love how they make this town seem like it's great. Let me know what you think of our little area after visiting.

True. I still visit my family. Just too small, slow paced for me.

It is quite slow still. It seems to be a great place to retire though...if you like the country. Although it is starting to get crowded. Definitely not the best place for the avid entrupeneur.

It's just funny how a website can make this city appear so exciting.

I used to go to Lake Charles quite a bit. I don't remember much of it being like that website though

Is Caddyshacks still there?

Also, where are you from that brings you to LC?

I left my money there. I go and visit it once in a while.

i used to sneak there to drink when the drinking age was 18 in LA

wasn't 18 though. hehe

It did take us a while to move the drinking age up to 21.

(Although its still not hard to get...)

It was somewhere in Lake Charles. It's been 5-6 years so I can't remember exactly where. I used to play in a band that played there a bit. I from Baton Rouge so it wasn't too far.

I don't think it's still around. The only nightclubs that seem to have stood solid ground is Cowboy's and the ones right around that area. There are the one's on Common St. across from McNeese that change owners about once every 3 months it seems
