It was hilarious that he got Jerry to stop at a house saying it was Sugar Ray Leonard's. It ends up being Jay Mohr's, haha.

I liked the story of when he plays the "Chess savant" who beat him 2 times in a matter of minutes.

I only watched one episode with Michael Richards, which was fantastic. As a fan of the show Seinfeld, it really gives some fresh insight into the character Kramer.

Honestly the Michael Richards ep was my least favorite so far. Somewhat insightful certainly, but it also seemed like he wanted to use it as a vehicle to explain his outburst.. even years later.

I wish they had some writers & a script. The episodes are hit-or-miss funny. I was really disappointed by the Brian Regan one, that dude is hilarious with his comedic bits, but the car ride wasn't really funny at all. I think the show could be absolutely hilarious if they hired a writer to help guide the dialogue.

I thought that was one of the few not so funny episodes. Jay Leno was surprisingly good. The mobster story at the end was great

I think you have been: a) missing the point of the show b) conditioned by the indistinguishability of scripted-reality tv c) possibly reduced to a short attention-span by this fast-paced world.

The name of the show is 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,' not 'Comedians in Cars Getting Hookers and Blow.' It's meant to be amusing (at times rip-roaring funny) and conversational. Don't change a thing Jerry.

If you want that then just turn on the TV and watch any other scripted show... leave this alone. Lots of writers ARE comedians anyway, so letting the show just be between Jerry and a guest is perfect. It's people talking about what they want, fairly naturally.

I've watched a handful of them and they were all pretty good.

I'd settle for funny people being, I dunno funny? I mean he got the legend Rickles on it, and it just felt stale. It's like Jerry brings down everyone around him in every episode I watched. Don's the fucking man and Jerry seemed to suck all the funny out of him. It's doubly bad because the discussion side's serious lacking. Maybe Jerry could switch it up to be similar to Inside The Actors Studio. This is apparently suppose to be comedy, imho they need to totally rework the shit.
