the whole point of having protocols like not interfering in an election is to guide actions when they might otherwise be conflicted.

I want to add her inability to confront the email issue with people. She did a great job at the hearings, why she was unable to talk to news casters about it is what kept the scandal alive. I don't think I saw Hillary interviewed more than a handful of times, Trump faced every issue that came up, Trump perpetually spoke with reporters even if it was for one question.

It doesn't sell well, and most Americans -- fed a steady diet of sound bites and memes -- can't digest it. Clinton would have been far more effective had she adopted Donnie's strategy of bold, shameless lies, always. His flock loved him for it.She had trouble with it because, unlike her husband, trump, Bernie, or even Obama, she's not a very good politician and she's not able to spin as easily and pivot away from the discussion. When trump was asked questions about damning topics he simply lied or deflected and he would continue doing so until the subject was changed or the reporter/journalist dropped the question. When the same was done to Hillary she was unable to deflect.

Nonetheless, fact checkers consistently showed Clinton to be more honest overall than any of her GOP opponents. (This is why the bubble also worked so hard to smear fact checking.)
