I just got off the phone with Dishnetwork and they are gonna run a promotion where you can add more recieviers for $49.99!!! I can go from my two recievers to 4 for $49.99 install and a 12 month subscription.. What a savings..No I do not work for dish..To upgrade to 4 recievers before was gonna cost $400-600+ dollars..Now just $49.99 and $5 a reciever..I think this is a deal to look out for..

So... to get this deal correct.. (since it sounds mighty interesting)

It costs only 49.99 for the receiver & installation for each receiver. So if I chose to install 2 receivers it would set me back $100 and this includes the hardware & installation? Because you can probably get a receiver on ebay for $29.99 (sure its lowend, but it does the work)

Also a 12 month subscription... doesn't it just come off of the primary receiver (if I subscribe to the whole package, shouldn't I receive this on all receivers...)

What is this deal exactly.....

I believe he MIGHT be getting this confused with a package deal from their Digital Home Plan where you're basically renting the receivers... not sure though. This could be interesting.

Your thinking about DirecTV recievers for ~$30 on ebay. Working Dishnetwork recievers go for around $80 for the basic recievers.

That is right I am Digital Home Plan subscriber. I have to sign another 1 year contract..I was told I would get the other two recievers, the SW64 switch and all wiring necessary for the installation for $49.99 installed...I think you have to subscribe to the Americas Top 150 but I am not sure..That is what I already have anyway..It is $5 a month more for each reciever also.


Shameless plug? I told you I don't work for them..I work for a water heater manufacturing company in their IT department...

If I am going to get the receiver from ebay. Don't I still have to get the card to the receiver from Disk network which is actually cost $5/month? Is there a way to get a FREE card? How is it work?

I am an existing subscriber and while new subs can get the PVR for $99,
it would cost me more like $300.
