I got one of these from buy.com . I think it is parallel ...

Kinda slow and scans are fair.... great software though!!! use it all time to organize my scans and rebate copies....

I've bought a 50pack of these cds forgot what speed they were rated at 8x maybe, but they burn at 12x perfectly. There capacity doesn't match the TDK's 80min. They do print on the cd, says prime peripherals, title, date, content, helps protect the film on the cds. When I bought them they had a 9.97 rebate which I never got. I think mainly because I moved and I didn't get my address fowarded. IIRC it was an OKIE rebate. But i'll vouch that these are great budget cds. Better than the nonames.

Never got them back. CC guys say that you can file a note with them. huh !
I will not bother of these CDRs... but the HP CD writer is COOL! ... I mean HOT

I don't know the problems that you have had witht the rebates from them, but I've bought 2 50pk spindles and a 5 pack and got the rebates back quickly. All were bought from OM.

I've only got 3 of 5 rebates from product bought at Circuit City. One hasn't come due yet.

OM MIRs used to be TOO DAMN GOOD when they used to have the All in One MIRs. In those dasy, OM used to coordinate all the manufacturer's for the rebate and send a single check every month. Then suddenly they stopped doing that starting Nov.2000 or so... now you have to send individual MIRs... which *enables* the manufacturers to throw your MIRs in trash and enjoy.

If they are the same Prime Peripherals as the one's Staple had (The 50 cd's for $5 ($15 - $10MIR))... They are ok. They use the cheaper dye so don't expect these cd's to last 100 years. They seem ok so far but nothing spectacular. The ones we have are 80min 16x certified. We mailed the rebate in about 2 weeks ago. We'll see if they actually send us the rebate.
