are blue and green tiberium the same thing? Any general tips for the game that i might not get at first? For example, what the hell does that one thing do? its on the left hand side when you play as Nod and it says it covers vehicles but damages the infantry? seems kinda worthless.

The "teamwork" if that's what you call it, and the online play are just a joke. Games back in '96 had better online play than this.
Regret buying this for multi play. Guess Ill beat single player and bench this game. Oh well, EA f'ks us again.

ok, the mission with all the NOD stockpiles is fvcking hard as hell! i can't figure out how to beat it. you're stuck with limited units and NOD just sends wave after wave after wave with no slowing down.

That is where I am stuck. I can can get through most NOD defenses and units, but he always kills my engineers eventually. I kept them back with the Rig for protection, but NOD goes right for the weak engineers. I tried taking the engineers along with my tanks and APCs, but they get killed just as easily.

I wonder if I should put them in the APCs, and leave my other infantry undefended.

Those dang Obelisks of Light don't make the job any easier.

i put them in the APCs but I jsut can't get to any of the locations without losing half my force and it doesn't help that NOD keeps sending units non stop. if it would give me a break in between waves i might actually be able to do something.

infantry seem to be almost worthless.

I was originally going to go for the locations closest to me but that just draws even more NOD units. I've been trying for the far corner location but the friggin Venoms really hamper my attpemt to take the area, not to mention the constant waves of units.

Even on easy its hard.

Great single player game. Great graphics and the FMVs are polished and look great. I'm in the middle of the GDI right now just at the Europe theater.

pontifex, are you deploying the rig? i failed them ission twice cause i let my engineers die on accident haha. they are so weak =\. but the battle rig can repair all your vehicles

so unless your not deploying it i dont see how you lose half your force

This mission was easy. I didn't even had to use the rig until I arrived at the last rendez-vous point.

When you arrive at the NOD base to your left, do not destroy the factory and one of the power generators. Capture them with engineers and pump out some Scorpion tanks. I made about three of them and it was a piece of cake. Just concentrate on moving to the right after crossing the bridge, and set up the rig at the meeting point once you get there. Once you get Firehawks, it's a cakewalk.

Once you get to the point to the right, sell the NOD buildings you captured earlier, because they will be useless and will come under attack.

I finished GDI and is now starting NOD missions. GDI was too easy, even the last mission. I am hoping NOD will provide some more challenge...

I agree it was pretty easy though I did something different with that mission. Basically I camped my tanks around the rig after the bridge until they were all veterans and then I did all the secondary objectives and then bombed the base, overall pretty simple.

The last mission was even easier since after a while they essentially place their construction base outside my door step to be captured by an engineer. After that tech my way to two super weapons and a small force for defense and it was GG. Of course saved halfway to see both endings.

yes, i deploy the rig, but to try to keep moving ahead and undeploying and redeploying isn't fast enough. by the time i get the rig undeployed and start moving a new wave of enemies is attacking me.

Hes a sup com fan and is saddened by the high quality online play and extremely fast support that EA are offering for c&c 3. That would be the most likely explanation for the above totally false statement.

i'm surprised there aren't more posts about this game or is everyone spending all their time playing it? lol

good game but hard in the later missions.

How did you guys beat the mission where you had the low power base without a construction yard? i'm mainly interested in hearing how you took out the base in the lower right corner. that was a bitch because there's no way to get to it by land, and they have tons of AA emplacement and AA units, so getting any air units up there was hard.

For the low power mission. I had my tanks get transported up there( I think about 10 of them) to the upper right hand part of their section) and also had 8 bombers fly in from the right corner to bomb whatever they could. took me 2 times of doing this, but then they were dead.

how did you transport your tanks? where did you get bombers?
all I could get were the regular orcas and i didn't see anything that would allow me to transport my units.

oh yeah, I used the orcas, not bombers, once you have an airfield, you can call transport for tanks. Not mammoth tanks though. Just use predators.

Click on the unit you want to transport and off to the left of the unit there will be a symbol of a transport craft. Click on that and then the transport comes and picks up the unit. Click on the transport to fly where you want and drop off the unit.

You don't even need to save the game halfway. I saved a game at the very end with one enemy building left and I was able to watch both endings. It saves you time.

Like others said, use regular tanks and transport them up there. You can also use some zone troopers with their jump jets. Using Firehawks in tandem makes it even easier.

i did use zone troopers but they died quickly. i don't think you can get firehawks on this level, just orcas

Like others said you gotta drop tanks, but you also need AA to fend off their flyers. Pitbulls can help, but they die easily. I'd suggest dropping a few rocket infantry. Putting them inside APCs can also help.

I found the easiest way to beat this mission was to take over the NOD base in the Northeast. Their bombers are a lot more effective against the SE base. I just marched up there with about 20 tanks and that put an end to the armor assaults, then I used their tech to build enough air to take out their southeast base.
