I mean [comma] seriously. [<----exclamation point would make the most sense here, otherwise "seriously" can be read as a modifying adverb of "mean"] There, their and they're? <----- Sentence fragment. Who COULDN'T tell these apart? But then [comma]I see posts with them[which are] horridly wrong all the time, so I guess our system of education is failing the younger generation. At least I went to a school that gave a damn about the kids [comma, otherwise it's the school who had said parents] and had parents who wouldn't let me screw around.

Welcome to the internet.
If I was writing a thesis, I would pay a bit closer attention. Regardless, I bet my posts are written much better than most average posts. I would venture to guess that my posts are written better than the papers written by many children in school these days. That's the sad thing.

I checked their answers, and the question I supposedly answered incorrectly was a gaffe on their part. "Whoever" is an acceptable use in their example, even though "whomever" is preferred. If you're going to make a test, at least make sure it's correct.

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

Yeah, it is pretty sad that you compare your writing to papers written by children. There aren't very many posters here who make so many stupid posts that I take notice. pcslookout is one. ICRS is one. You are one.

I could have majored in English easily.
I constantly find errors in newspapers and magazines, etc. I could have easily been an editor.
I may not be able to diagram complex sentences any longer, but common spelling and word usage is trivial.
