It isn't that most conservatives are necessarily stupid. It's that their reasoning and reading comprehension skills are (apparently) defective. Any objective evaluation/comparison of posts by righties and lefties on this forum would support that conclusion.

He's obviously intelligent and highly articulate...maybe I'm a little naive, but I was actually hoping he would "get it" at some point. DC was a noble venture and I know he worked his butt off trying to make it happen and I genuinely thank him for that. Unfortunately, his militant partisanship and arrogant personality prevented him from setting the kind of balanced tone needed to effectively moderate that particular type of forum. I wish CK the best and hope something good comes from this for him.

IDC was part of the push to reform P&N, and it failed spectacularly. CK was the driving force that got the DC created. Don't believe me? Ask any mod here and they will tell you that it would have never been created if not for his incessant push for it.I don't see that at all. The push to do something about P&N had started long before CK got involved. It appears he had a hand in it's development, but we don't even know that.
