Comp can't boot up

When I tried to boot my computer, it just beeps and there's no display on the monitor. I have a ABIT BE6-II mobo, P3-700, 256 ram. I tried to reseat the video card... seems fine... and checked the ram... seems fine... all the IDE cables are connected. So what's wrong?

take note of the beeps that it makes, then go to the manufacturer's website, the ones that made your mobo, and check for beeps codes, that will tell you what the prob is.


what was the last thing you did before it didnt boot up again?

have you managed to fix the problem?
my only boots up when I clear the cmos, I got an abit zm6..........kind of booring to have to clear cmos al the time....
