damni d jump on this if i knew whether the palmOS 3 on my handspring would work with this, i was gonna pick up one of those CF->springboard converters anyway...anyone know where more info on this is?

I got mine here.. u can build your own actually... I'm trying to get the plastic.. My wife works at symbol technology and they have a scanner module (UPC) and I going to ask her to get her to order me some plastic covers...

I'm using one that looks the same, but is made by Hawking Technologies. I have a Casio E-115 and the CF network adapter works great.

This will work on ANY PocketPC with a Type I Compact Flash port.

There is also a 100Mbps adapter if you transfer alot, but I doubt you need more that 10Mbps, and this is a good price. I bought mine from Buy.com for about $60 last year, but retail was $120 (that was what I expected).

This adapter is ideal for developing software on the PocketPC or if you transfer alot of files back and forth (hey, how many files can you transfer into 32MB...).

If you have an iPaq, you obviously need the CF expansion sleeve.

The Jornada PocketPC has a Type I CF slot, it will work fine.

I bought it long time ago from Pcmall's auction at yahoo. ($40)
It works grat: you can backup, sync and restore via ethernet. If you have the right software, you can even surf the web and/or mount network drives. It works on any wince or pocket pc device. I used it for my aero 2100 and cassiopeia e-100

I just bought one from Egghead for less than $30. It works great with my Aero 1550. A full backup takes only minutes compared to over an hour via the cradle.

The iPaq can with the right Expansion Pack.
They even have a dual slot one. It makes a huge handheld.
