Sweet, I've been waiting for the price to drop on these. It may not be the best thing for 'net access, but it does have other uses. Imagine this: You're DJing a party with your computer and massive MP3 collection. But, instead of sitting there staring at the monitor and double-clicking all night, you're dancing in the crowd. In one hand you have your trusty PocketPC (A Toshiba Maestro for me), and in the other, your stylus. You dance up to one of the many beautiful women, who asks "Hey, are you the DJ?" You respond "Yes, yes I am". She asks, "Hey, can you play _____ for me? It's my favorite song." A few taps later, and you tell her "It's coming up next, just for you." She asks "How'd you do that?", and you reply "Magic."...then you slip your PDA in your pocket, and proceed to dance with her.
OK, maybe that's not how it'll really happen, but it's still fun to actually get out and dance when you're DJing. I'm working on a PocketPC App to control Winamp playlists remotely, and now I'll actually be able to test it properly.
