My current keyboard is bulky and beige so I am looking at mini keyboards. I have heard they can be hard to get used to and can be uncomfortable. Does anyone have firsthand experience?
I hate typing on laptop keyboards so I was looking at something not as compact, like the Cherry G81-1800 or the diNovo. They are smaller than the standard size and the keys are not totally jammed together like the true mini's. Any other recommendations? Here are my requirements:
Anything less than 16" would probably be ok. I don't want any multimedia buttons, their just adding clutter. If I could get one without the number pad that would be perfect. All black preferably. Arrow keys separated from the main grouping would be great.Price range is about $50.
It's tough to get measurements on keyboards. Microsoft seems to be one of the few who list the dimensions in their pdf manuals. I couldn't find dimensions for Logitech, Dynex, Belkin, and various other manufactures. I don't think I have seen any on the boxes in retail stores. Standard size seems to be 18" give or take.
