Great game....i only have one qual with it. Its difficult even under the easy settings and there are no cheats to get you through the tough sections.

excellent game, but be prepared for some serious time for just 1 round either in multiplayer or through the campaigns....

ncage, you can find a 'trainer' that gives you unlimited fuel, ammo, resourses, instant build times, etc. for the game. I had the same problem, with my last strategy game being Warcraft 2 (for DOS, nonetheless) so the enemy AI constantly beat me. The trainer gives me breathing room to level the playing field, so if I get completely overwhelmed, a six pack of Shermans will fix ANY issues.

Note: the trainer will only work for the correct partched version of the game (ie: get the trainer for 1.3 if that is what version of the game you are running).

do the trainers f*ck up the game? can i game online (obviously without it) without issues?

The trainer won't mess up the game, but it is for single player only. Online use would be cheating. And, (insert parent voice here) you have to be careful with the trainer or it will just ruin the game.

I'd suggest you just try using 1 of the trainer options, like removing the manpower cap. By doing that the challenge of the game still remains but it is less time consuming. Picks up the pace a bit, if you will, because that's the only thing that bugged me about the game. It somehow manages to be complicated and slow at the same time.

Franks hit the nail on the head with his post. The trainer frees up any annoyances you might have with the game, to the point where you are the ultimate decision maker on what you want to get out of each game. If you want to blow stuff up, then drop a Calliope tank every minute and head for the enemy base to obliterate that side of the map. If you want the pop cap removed, use that. I found I just couldn't beat this game without some help (played Semois in the demo and vowed revenge on the Germans in a huge way). I've since played Semois about 3 times a day and continue to try new strategies to win without relying solely on the trainer. I've found mines are just flat out nasty at armor chokepoints !! Muhahahahaa

sounds good. there is no way i want to play online with the trainer, just the sp takes forever, hell i have spent 2-3hrs in different shifts to get past only the 4th or 5th section for the red ball express (firsr rts game)....
