Where does your order go on the account page after the powerbuy is over? Shouldn't it go to your recent orders? Cause my account page shows nothing now, whereas it showed my bid minutes before the powerbuy ended. Is this normal?

Welp, Mercata goofed and just got my monitor shipped today (per the CSR I spoke with). Got the order placed on the 18th. I've been calling every day to get a tracking number. Was told it shipped last Tuesday. No tracking number. Was then told it shipped on Wednesday. Still no tracking number today. So I called this morning to get my tracking number, and after waiting all day I get an email from a CSR stating that it shipped today. So I called Mercata to ask them to ship the monitor overnight, as they had delayed shipment too much. The CSR told me that it was already shipped. She was very apologetic and stated that she could give me 15% off of the original price of the monitor. Came out to be a refund of $73. So my total cost for this 19" monitor is now going to be less than $67 after rebate.

Woooohooo.

I just hope she was right and it shipped today. If not, I'm going to be pissed tomorrow

Just installed the monitor!!!!

It is huge compared to my 15'. I think the picture quality is perfect. Speakers actually sound pretty good also.

I have a quick question. I am preparing my rebate here for the monitor. The only invoice that mercata have sent me is the packaging slip. According to the rebate thing from compaq i need a copy of th edated sales receipts, for qualifying purchases or, if purchased directly from compaq, packing slips.

Do you think the packaging slip form mercata would be enough ?

Mercata states that order processing may take 2 business days. Since Mercata wasn't officially open Thursday or Friday, today would be the 2nd business day. See if it ships today.

Mine didn't ship until the 4th business day (yesterday), according to the CSR. I just checked my account and it still shows pending shipment :disgust:

This is a great monitor. Very crisp and nearly flat. We use 1024X768 resolution. Got mine the day before turkey day. Ordered two more for my office using different names and email addresses. I had two other people sign up for the Mercata $100 before the promotion stopped. The other two came yesterday. This may be the best deal I've ever made.

Just got mine from UPS today!!!... damn two people had to carry it to my door???? hehe yea it was heavy...well i unpack it right away and sit it on my desk right next to my old 15" proview i've had for over 4 years(paid $300 at circuit shi**y back then too)... damn whatta difference in size...hooked it right up and all i can say is Wow..... my dad comes home and says "Wow", "Damn that monitor is nice" I said i know right and guess what i paid for it? $160 (after 100 mail in rebate) then he took a double take again and say "DAMN that monitor is really nice NOW!!!" hehe i had to giggle. he asked me if i still wanted a KDS 195-TF or the samsung 955DF i been bugging him to get me (or atleast put some money towards) for x-Mas... i said i donno the dual 19" monitor setup would be nice and really cool(i have the matrox g400max) but i donno maybe the money (atleast 400 for KDS or samsung monitor) could be used for something else... This compaq monitor is really sharp.... looks alot better then in the stores and i was satisfied there with the picture it displayed.... picture is not perfectly flat but man now i am asking myself if i really need that perfect flat look?

Definely the best deal i have ever gotten online.... i wanna say thanks to everyone that contributed and gotten into this deal..

Mine finally showed up in ups's data by tracking with the order number but the mercata page still doesn't show it as shipped. strangely its scheduled for delivery on the 30th which is saturday. is ups doing saturday deliveries during the holidays or did mercata add saturday delivery to ground shipping?

Nevermind all that nonsense... I just looked at my watch and thought strange today is tuesday the 28th... how can saturday be the 30th. somehow my calendar got jumped ahead to december and I didn't notice.

Just got mine yesterday, unexpected.... the tracking number was not usable so I sent an e-mail and they responded quickly and said to expect it in 5 to 7 days and it came the next day......there is a God!!!

I paid $246.33 and now I have started the rebate dance for the 100 buckose. Everything went well when I entered the S/N at Compaq's website and I sent all the required documents off this morning.

The monitor is one of the best I have ever owned and is a great value for the money. I vote this deal the best of the year so far.....

Man, this >totally< sucks. Just received the monitor this afternoon. Brought it home from work... AND IT DOESN'T WORK!! ARGH!! First time I've ever had a damaged device/part sent to me in all these years. Oh well, guess the odds were gonna catch up with me. I've been on hold with Compaq Service for the past 45 minutes, too...

Update: Wow!! Just got off the phone with the Compaq CSR, after waiting for an hour. Anyways, they're gonna send another monitor (will take 3-5 days) and asked if I had any other questions. I was a little confused and asked what I should do with the old one (I expected them to send a UPS label, or something). Anyways, the guy just told me to throw the old one in the trash, since that's what they'd probably do. Anyways, I'm gonna try to see if I can fix this current one. If that works somehow, that's $150 for two 19&quot; monitors... WOOHOO!!!

Someone said Mercata is not allowing the 20% discount now. The Mercata dollars should be good thru 11/30. Thats what their site says. This is one hell of a deal. I almost feel like I commited a felony. Can I still use the $68.00 I have left after they gave me $40.00 for referrals? I would use another email address, but the Compaq rebate says one per name or address.
