Man, this >totally< sucks. Just received the monitor this afternoon. Brought it home from work... AND IT DOESN'T WORK!! ARGH!! First time I've ever had a damaged device/part sent to me in all these years. Oh well, guess the odds were gonna catch up with me. I've been on hold with Compaq Service for the past 45 minutes, too...
Update: Wow!! Just got off the phone with the Compaq CSR, after waiting for an hour. Anyways, they're gonna send another monitor (will take 3-5 days) and asked if I had any other questions. I was a little confused and asked what I should do with the old one (I expected them to send a UPS label, or something). Anyways, the guy just told me to throw the old one in the trash, since that's what they'd probably do. Anyways, I'm gonna try to see if I can fix this current one. If that works somehow, that's $150 for two 19" monitors... WOOHOO!!!
