That brings my total after rebates to, $534.99. That includes shipping, which is $40.00.

The HP Deskjet 3847 Printer must be included with notebook in order to receive an additional $100.00 rebate. Printer has it's own $50.00 rebate, which drops it down to $0.00. Printer options are upgradeable.

There are more additional upgrades that can be purchased in store when ordering that aren't listed in the link listed above.

This is a great deal, especially for a student looking for a bargain notebook. But only if you can take the $$$ hit and wait for 5 rebates to come.

I just bought the same laptop from Staples for $499 basic unit and added Turion, 12 cell battery, DVD, and Productivity Ports. Cost me about $110 more.

I should recoup about $70 since I am a K-12 teacher with the teacher rewards SO I am only out about $40. This is a great deal. Mine is in FedEx hands as I type.

You have to go to the store, configure the computer you want, order it, and wait for delivery.


As to OD accepting competitor's coupons like KaosFaction said, that is very YMMV. One store in my town has always accepted them and the other one has never accepted them.

As far as I know this deal is available all over, I ordered this one from Utah. But like it is stated above, the deal ends on 08/20/05. To clarify what I said when I "ordered this bad boy.... I meant to say that I went instore and configured all the options.

I'm not sure what WoW requires from a system, but I do know that with the upgraded Productivity Ports on the Radeon and RAM you can allocate 128mb of RAM to the video card... Again, I don't know if this helps at all. I've tried to get some reviews/information on the ATI Radeon Xpress 200m, but I haven't been able to find very much.

Heh. I came to let you guys know about this one, but there was already a post. Best deal I've ever seen on a laptop. It was a sweet deal before the $100 rebate on the 64 bit upgrade. For some reason they just didn't have that in the flier. Anyways, I'm going in tomorrow to pick one up for me and one for my cousin. If the rebates don't bug you, you won't find a better deal anywhere. This'll be great for my freshman year of college starting next week.

When you are configuring the laptop you can choose to add 802.11b/g wireless OR 802.11b/g wireless +Bluetooth. I don't remember the pricing on the bluetooth, somewhere around like $45 extra.

Dumb Questions:
The AMD64 rebate says "in-store at the kiosk only" do all ODs have kiosks? Going to the Kennewick, Washington store.

Also "You must purchase 2 items to qualify" That's the laptop WITH the AMD64 processor right? Not 2 laptops or a laptop and a Mars bar? Just asking, been screwed out of a $20 or $30 rebate in the past so I am extra careful with a $100 one.
