For the Z68 ASRock boards, get the Gen3 boards (ignore the first gen ones). I have the Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 and it's amazing. I debated this board for a long time with the Asus Z68 V Pro, but only ASRock and MSI offer VT-d with their Z68 boards.

I don't think you coudl go wrong with either the Extreme4 or V Pro though because 99% of people here don't ever need VTd. I might lean towards the Asus board instead due to warranty.

why get z68?

It's the newest so it's the greatest

You don't need to purchase the Z68 board if you don't need the features that it provides over the P67 chipset.

Z68 added features

1. Integrated graphics support
2. Use of Quicksync for video transcoding
3. SSD Caching

I see no boards in you link that wouldn't work out for you unless you think you'll use any of the features only the Z68 provides.

The three above reasons plus I'm understanding that z68 should be able to support Ivy Bridge.

Alot of the S1155 motherboards may also support Ivy Bridge. The latest version of the bios for my MB in sig adds support for 22nm cpus. It's just a if the current boards will support all features that's up for grabs I believe.

P8P67 PRO 2001 BIOS
1. Enable support for Next Gen 22nm Processor.

The spec of the pci-e slots video cards go in. It's a newer version which increases the available bandwidth available to the cards. The video cards aren't available yet tho....More for future cards like gtx 6xx or hd 7xxx series.

That board has 2x pcie 3.0 so yes sli would work fine.
