I need some loving here folks! i freaking brought the deal and then tried three different stores trying to find the desktop! not a single one in all three! the inventory says in-stock and i did call all the three stores around me! None! i wasted gas, traveled close to 100miles for nothing! i envy those that got in on it! :frown:
on a second note, i think compusa is doing this advertise and then bait off with no items on hand during sale time. I wish i could do something about it... THIS WAS HOW BAD IT WAS! there were two more poor gentlemen, about 60ish or 70ish men, and then some i think immigrant Russian that barely can speak English- who thought that they were going to get the deal. so the CSR took their info and told them that their item will be ready when the replacement for the deal comes back... My question was, these poor people are going to be screwed over, because when they send their rebates, a) they will have a rebate form with a UPC of different than what the rebate requires b) they will have a receipt date that will invalidate the rebates for the rebates are only honored for the two advertised sales days the replacement model is not supposed to show up until a week from now.... in case you did not get the whole story, they were replacing the model desktop with SR1710.... no prepay, but you pay when the computer arrives...
