Holy Jeebus!
The bad news? (There's always bad news). The raft of rebates: $50 printer bundle rebate, $120 Mfr. rebate
s, and $280 CrapUSA Bundle rebate
s. All that, and doing battle with the unwashed masses for a place in line at the store.
Still . . .
Somebody talk me out of this, please. It's madness, I tell you, MADNESS!
I surely don't need it, and my poorer friends won't want to pony up for the massive rebates up front.
Stil, still, still . . .
Edit: You know, the printer and the monitor aren't all that bad, either. The monitor is silver/black, and got a consistent 5 star rating from all 9 reviewers on Newegg.
The printer looks silver and black, also, and does borderless printing, 16 pages to a sheet printing, comes with a high capacity black ink cartridge, and will do 6 color photo printing if you buy the cartridges, or 4 color if you stick with the black plus 3.
I just wish I had some use for ANY of this, or knew someone who needed a decent low end system for a killer price AND could absorb the $700 plus tax price before the mountain of rebates up front.
