Same here. I picked up the 4X +R 50pk. My store also had a no-name PS2 controller for $5 and picked up one of those. Didn't see much else worth getting.

I've been watching those two Olevia Syntax LCD TVs. The 26" is obviously more affordable, as Fry's often has had them for $799 AR. So, two questions: is the 27" markedly worse than the 30" (resolution or whatever"? Second, is there any chance of a PM to drop the price at CompUSA? I looked around and didn't see any chance myself. And I wonder if it would even be possible, because one of the $200 steps was "Instant Rebate"? How does CompUSA treat PM against an IR? Thanks!

How come CompUSA doesn't just have regular weekly sales like most stores? One week they have a sales circular. Then the next week there is none. But sometimes they have a special 6-hour midnight sale. I would rather just have a regular weekly sale ad.

You need another vacation - a long one. allisolm takes time to post details on sales of various retailers every week for us. She provides a positive contribution to our forum community, unlike you. We appreciate her efforts.

BTW, I stopped by my Compusa last night around 6:10 and it was quiet, which is normal. It appears that they did not advertise this in the paper so only the people who are on their email list got the ad and knew ahead of time. They were handing the ads out at the door though. I picked up a couple of the cheap surge protectors, the 256mb thumb drive and the Netgear wireless thumb device.

They used to have weekly ads but they stopped several years ago. They have been trying different ad schemes to increase sales revenue and get more customers into the store - I think. I'm not sure it has been working for them.
