Compusa All-in-Wonder rebate AGP rebates denied

For anyone who got in on the All in Wonder Radeon 32MB AGP or PCI graphics card and mailed the $30 rebate even though the form clearly said PCI only:

I just got my denial email today, but I knew this would happen so I kept original copies of the rebate forms and entire newspaper ad. Email me at slickpants@attbi.com if you need a scan of the original ad. I plan on going back with the originals and don't expect a problem. This was the deal from the first week of January 2002.

Perhaps it would be more useful for the purposes of this thread if you actually put which card you sent in the rebate for , when you sent it, and when you got the email back. That would be much more helpful than just stating you got one ... sheesh.

Putting these 2 statements together logicly would mean that he bought an AGP and sent in a rebate for a PCI...sheesh lzpoof.

whew. i dropped so many names there..

Yeah, he knew. lzpoof was saying katka should've put what card he bought, but Technogeek stated that one can assume he bought an AGP and STILL got the rebate approved.

I was attempting to have the person (not slick) soecify exactly the card he was mentioning in case he missed the AGP part himself. I was suggesting putting up date of submission and email in case the policy on this changed. Therefore if someone received a positive email after someone else received a negative or vice versa, then they would know a policy might have changed. Details are helpful. For instance, if one had to chew a rebate clerk out on the phone to get them to accept, etc. Information is our friend. From experience, it is never good to make assumptions about anything where money is involved Having someone post as much info as possible about their success can give other people stepping stones towards earning success themselves. Nothing better than being able to give someone a rebate Id or something proving the company accepted the terms already from someone else.
