We have 2 stores near me in North Jersey (East Hanover, Parippany)... now the closest is Manhattan,NY

There were one in Springfield too... all gone.

yup, i looked for the parsippany one. the totowa store is gone too. and i am pretty sure there was a paramus location.

new jersey is done besides mt. laurel.

Sad. The Edison, Springfield & Parsippany stores are all gone. There used to be at least 6-7 CompUSA's in NJ and now there will be only the one (Mt. Laurel).

7-11 will sell by the case if you like. Not super cheap though. You can also buy bawl's online in cases.

I just checked my local CompUSA and it is not showing up on the site. I called with the intent to ask if they were liquidating and got the floor manager. When I told him they no longer showed up on CompUSA's site he got pretty upset about it - I guess they just made the decision on the Alexandria, VA one this afternoon (and hadn't told them yet).

He ended the call pretty quickly by thanking me for the information and saying they probably would be having a liquidation.

I quit shopping at CompUSA years back when they bought out computer city and shut them down. Their prices suck, and their service is worse.
The one around here has been a ghost town since Fry's opened up a couple years back.

Thankfully there's still one in Warwick, RI where my gf works and her parents live. And I am even luckier to live 5min away from the Micro Center in Cambridge
