I think I'm gonna take my chances and hold out for a bit to see if they lower it.

I was about to order it when I notice it didn't have a DVI output. I figure for a ti500 model, it should. I also notice they included the Compare Spare Part # which makes me think that it might not be a MSI Retail box??? Maybe an offical Compaq replace part?

I've never ordered online from CompUSA. If you order online:
- can you pick it up one of their stores and save on shipping?
- Do they let you return an online ordered item to the local B&M, without a restocking fee?

If you can return without incurring any cost, it may be better to order one now at $79.99, then order another later if the price comes down and return the higher priced item at the B&M. Will that work?

Also, the description says it has a TV out, but the photo doesn't show it. I looked for this model on the MSI website and there is no mention of the MS-8853. Closest thing is the MS-8854. Anyone ever heard of this card?

Yup, smells like an OEM part.

But for $80, plus whatever tax/shipping, it isn't too bad for a card that will probably run most any game today. Good for a spare game box. Wish the Geforce4 Ti4200 started dropping into this price range.

Also did some digging around at google and i think it was also manufactured for Dell. Which really makes no difference at all. I don't know when the last time was that I bought a retail boxed part. And judging from the benchmark linked a few posts up, this has gotta be the best performing sub $100 card available!
Now to wait and see if they drop the price a few more dollors or run out of stock.
