Thanks unclebud for catching that. I copied the same item number for the cd-rom drive and the Jumpdrive. Fixed it now.

I see only one $15 rebate shown, not 4 and the ad says $99.99 less $35 instant savings less $15 MIR.

edit: I got it. I typo'd 415 rebate instead of $15 (4 and $ = same key).

A note on the Columbia battery charger - it usually comes with 4 NiCd not NiMH. However, free is free.

I looked at the batteries I have from getting this deal previously -the yellow Fullymax ones - and they are NiCd but the charger handles both kinds.

Picked up the 2-way radios today. you are allowed 2 per household

Interestingly though, I picked up another 2 for a friend, and put them on my CC. The cashier told me that the rebate would get rejected since the name on the credit card would be the same twice for rebates (even though I used 2 different cards). The manager told me to come back tomorrow, and just pay cash, so that is what i will do.

The manager may have just been full of BS, but they may be cracking down on rebates

This is because the form (online) says that the rebate rights can't be transferred. If you use a credit card in your name and send in two, then you can't use another card in your name and then send in for two more rebates even for another address. According to the rebate companies you bought 'em, you alone can send in for the rebates. If you use cash there is no name associated with the purchase so anyone can send in the rebate along with the matching receipt.
