I could care less about $1.60 in shipping, it's that even ONE rebate is a PITA.
(Obviously, rebates are a big issue with me.)

A couple of good deals for this sale.
1. Vegas Movie Studio 6 + DVD for $9.99 after rebates. This is a good mid level video software.
2. PCI TV Tuner Card with Remote for $19.99 out the door. Not sure of the quality, but if it works decent at that price it would be good.

Just got back from CUSA. I picked up the $29.99 (AR) 16x DVD burner. It turns out to be a BENQ 1640!

The guys over on CDFreaks.com say this is one of the best burners out there.

The box had 1640 printed on the back side, if you go looking for one (before midnight tonight).

5 year warranty FTW Plus Seagate produces extremely reliable hard drives (hence the 5 year warranty) anyways, thanks OP, I went home to my parent's place this weekend and their hard drive died probably 15 minutes after I got there, so we went and picked up the 200gb

I hope you are joking. If you are not, why would you think made in Thailand is "not very good"? They've been making hard drives in Thailand a lot longer than they've been making them in China. In fact they are the second largest exporter of hard drives behind Singapore.

I prefer Singapore over Thailand and China. All the solder joints on the Singapore units are shiny. Granted, I've only worked with 70 to 80 Seagate drives.

I was looking for a hard drive to upgrade my Tivo this weekend. I stopped by at a CompUSA on my way home. One look at the lineup at the cashier, I turned around to head to Fry's. I don't like mail-in rebates anyways.
