Holidays are depressing, and I think this freaking sale put me over the top.......ugh! I can't believe I fell for that what a joke, my impressions of CompUSA are so dismal and they are just plummeting down my list. I think the best-priced item is the TDK external 40/12/48 burner for 54.99 - you couldn't score an enclosure AND a burner for that.

The WORST is the laptops. 749.99 for a P3-600? 599.99 for a first-gen iBook? I mean, come ON, guys - no wonder you're in trouble financially.

Challenge.. find me a Olympus Camedia C-4040 for anything near the $349 they are offering it at. And they have it in stock in 4 out of the 5 local CrapUSA stores in my area... Be sure to turn over all the stones when looking for treasure..

Sony 2.4x Internal EIDE DVD+RW Drive for $230 isn't that bad, considering most of the decent deals on DVD-R/+R stuff is slower than that. Also the rebate is instant.
