Went to the CUSA in Gaithersburg, MD. There was a line through the parking lot at 4. Picked up the HDD, Belkin G router, wireless laptop & wireless desktop NIC, and air duster. Note that you can get three cards- one of each type, with the router combo for 9.99AR. I wound up going back in to return a second notebook card since I didn't get a rebate for it.

Looking to replace my linksys B router. Anyone know if the range on the G better?

i picked up the belkin router and pci card before 3pm, then went back later and got:
2 x sandisk mini cruzer 128MB USB drives $12.99 no rebates (not hot, but pretty nice)
25 pack memorex DVD+RW $9.99 no rebates
512MB PC2700 39.99AR
logitech optical mouse FAR ($7, goes nice with the FAR memorex spill-proof keyboard)

Was in the NJ store Rt-17s. Not that many peeps. Got the 250gb ATA133 hd maxtor. Plenty left.
Got the bluetooth USB adapter with only 3 left on shelf.

Funny asked for a stock check on the 128mb usb drive. One sales rep said they had some left and to go to a counter and ask. The other sales rep at this counter said they were all gone.

Walked to the cash to pay and go. while I'm waiting I see an other rep bring one in and slip it in under the cash register for another client. I tell the cashier where it just came from cause every rep was telling me OOS.

I started to complain that they were stashing them for their friends. So he went and got me one. geesh...

Got the 128mb sanddisk mini cruzer but with a lot of trouble. all in I'm happy with the 3 ndeals I snagged before Black Friday.

i didnt think the drive was worth $99 till i saw the actual new cost (newegg.com etc). sheesh this drive better kick some butt for the price.

officemax 7am $50 WD2000 i might need to get them.

btw there were a ton of them in atlanta lenox, i asked the dude for one and he walked off, so i just slid the glass open and walked off. coulda took 20 but i didnt think they were really worth that much imo.

the dvd+r memorex are top notch 8x no errors on my LG burner. i got some dvd+rw time to go watch a movie if my amw player support +RW. good for those one off dvdshrink burn n return type of movies to keep the queue going of course i format the disc after i watch it thats the point of +RW

I picked up a 250gb hard drive and a nice stash of dvd-R's. The lines in St. Louis weren't too bad, but it was sure snowing like crazy.

they were crazy at queens nyc, i got there at 4:20 and they said they were all gone. this nice guy overheard me and told me where there are 10 more. this guy in front of me took 4 and i took 2. a saleperson said limit one per person. but i was there with a friend.

it was so stupid. this thing was 120 dollars last week and staples and always ~120-130 from outpost since late August...

i waited 20 minutes to pay. but my buddy needed one to mod his new xbox

I got the 250gb hard drive, the UPC, some dvds, that Wireless G PC card and some free compressed air, Overall got everything I was looking for except that 512mb ram The line where I live was a lot longer than I thought it would be, I got there at 3:30 and there were already about 100 people in front of me!

I just got the APC surge protector, never seen one like this on sale before. I don't care about other stuff. Too bad I already got a Belkin 100m bluetooth adapter, otherwise I may get that DLink adapter. But Dlink one is only 30m.

i got in on the 250gb hard drive - they had about 50 in stock, pretty much everyone in line had a hard drive. i love maxtor HD's. i just wish this one was SATA16!

Hey Hawksballer you might want to return that Net Card you got. Without the Router you can't get the full rebate.

The store here in TN used tickets to give out the cheap PC and laptop down the line.

There were about 100 people in line and a little chaos, but It was actually done really well.
There were lots of staff and they had a pretty good amount of stock.
Most people got what they wanted.
I got 2 of the 250GB's and 2 logitech mice.

I went for the dvd player. When you punch in the product number online, it comes up as a Go Video model D640. What they had at the store, however, was a Protron D650. It was $19.99 at the register, no rebate needed. I hooked it up to our old tv last night (found out I needed an RF modulator because the tv only had a coax connection - the RF cost almost as much as the dvd player!), and it worked fine. The only drawback is it only can't play anything more than 2 channel sound. The old tv is mono anyway so it doesn't matter, but this is not an obvious "feature" when you look at the ad or box. Overall the store (Monrovia, CA) was well-stocked with most of the advertised items and they had plenty of sales people to help out. I was surprised; I was expecting bedlam but it was orderly.
