The ad lists the Nikon as $349.97, so all the better if you can get it for $50 less. The price may have been raised in the ad since they're also giving you a $30 memory card with purchase in the ad. What I would do in this case is purchase the Nikon NOW (if it drops in the stores later, get a price adjustment) and then buy the 128MB CFlash for $60 in the store with an extra $20 MIR. That way, you get the camera + 128MB CFlash for $340 total after MIR.

No. There are 2 different models that CUSA is including in this promotion, so YMMV as to which one is in your store.

Nice post 3 days in advance! Wow, I did not think we would see a dollar a gig so quickly, and at 7200! I love these Maxtors; nothing like the heat problems of the old 7200s.

I would stay away from Net Nanny. They denied my rebate even though I sent in all the right materials on time. Plus, I didn't like the software at all. Norton Internet Security is much better.

well i was "thinking" of getting the scanner, i do need 1.. one that works though and this one seems almost worthless


i ran into this site http://www.driversearch.com/forums/scanner/ and did a find (search) or anything that said scanport 6000 and woooooooooooo defenately doesn't work in xp..

and major probs in linux, 98 etc... don't look good at all

There are no special times noted in the ad for opening. I believe it would be your store's standard opening time, but you could call and ask them as well. They will be closing at 6PM on Thursday.

Thanks for the info passign. I'm looking for a new sanner because I can't get my Visioneer 7600 parallel port to work in XP. From snooping around I see a lot of people having scanner problems after upgrading to XP. I think the scanner companies are ed that thier hardware has more longevity in the computer world than almost any other computer component. I think thier trying to drum up business by not updating drivers. It seems I get more paranoid every day.

Does anyone know if there is much of a difference between the Mad Dog 5.1 soundcard listed in this deal sheet and the stock SBLive OEM card I have now? Will it really make a noticeable difference in sound quality? I have 4 speakers and a sub now..sounds pretty good..just wondering if I can improve it on the cheap?

Why is the harddrive so special? They have a WD 100G for $99 after MIR now, it's the same $1/G. I would rather have a bigger drive for $20 more.

nice and interesting post! what i want to know is have you tried to rma the iomega yet? i'm not saying defraud them (perish the thought ), but i feel that if the drive failed, it should be taken care of! they should have left it a plextor to begin with anyway! they KNEW they weren't going to do REGULAR updates! they are ALMOST as bad as creative! good luck!
