compusa sucks!!!

Ok I ordered some compact flash on 11/24. Compusa tells me it shipped on 11/29. I wait until now and it still hasn't arrived. I have tried to check the status of the order through the website but it always displays an error but today it worked and much to my astonishment it showed that it was delivered on 12/6, a week ago!! It was signed by someone that I know doesn't live in my three story apartment. I am quite perplexed and don't know what to do. I read from COMPUSA's shipping information that they use Fedex for shipping. But I don't have a tracking number and Compusa has abyssmal customer service. I have a bill on my credit card for something I don't have... and now I don't even want this thing. How can I get this resolved?

I would start with Fedex. Do you have the tracking number? I would ask them who signed for it. Where did they deliver it?

i don't have tracking number or anything ;( i will try to call fedex and compusa tomorrow to get it if possible... but who do you think i should target to get my money back? Fedex, credit card company, or compusa?

Well, I was just watching the news where both VISA and MC are offering zero liability
on credit card fraud. Not sure if this qualifies. Call CompUSA and verify the address
they have for you. As far as who is responsible, depends on who dropped the ball, so to
speak. Maybe you will know that tomorrow..

What are you doing ordering from CrapUSA? Thats place sucks, except for the 20 dollar 100 spindles.

In the event that neither Compusa or FedEx take responsibility for the misdelivered item, contact your credit card costumer service and explain the situation. I had this happen to me with a purchase from buy.com. The rep at citibank actually called over to buy.com and resolved the issue for me. Normally, though, you get a big old form you have to fill out concerning the item and the events surrounding it for your credit card company to do anything about it. And, usually there's a limit on the amount they're liable for--it's listed in your credit card agreement. Hope this helps. Good luck!

call comp its their responsability to recoup the money from fed ex,
I used to work for a retail company and fed ex was stealling boxes of our shipments and when we complained and claimed the losses fed ex refused to even look into it. They no longer use fed ex.

Call comp and get your tracking number, it should be in your order email or something. tell them the story and that you want your money back. If the refuse call your credit card company and tell them you want to dispute the charge. Dont bother with fed ex they are idiots.

used to work for compusa, and i highly agree, never worked with the online site as that is handled by "corporate" which is the real reason compusa sucks, bites, blows, and whatever else, the corporate controllers make stupid redicoulous ideas/changes moves. Its gotten too big the corporate part, and thus compusa is bad. .

Hi guys, called Fed Ex and they basically said they need a tracking number. I called COMPUSA and waited for half a hour on hold and gave up. I've called many times before too and waited from 10-30 minutes. I've also emailed them many times. I need the tracking number to do anything and it's not on my email confirmation thing or anything. I think I will have to dispute it with my credit card company, Citibank, but I've tried before and they said that they can't do anything because it's shipped... anyone got an idea on how I can get COMPUSA to give me the tracking number...
