Nope, that as good as it gets at the moment...snap one up if you want one.

Though tax will kill the hotness to some degree.

Edit: $367.88 shipped to my state, WA ...so its still a decent deal.

Well you asked the right guy, I have owned both...my answer is not likely. Get the GT if you demand the highest setting possible in every game.

ok i think i'll wait for the 6800 or 6600gt to hit the 199.00 spot. bm store near me got the 6800 for 199 tomorrow and with all the 6600gt's supposed to be coming out in the next few weekes. maybe i'll hold off a bit =). i really only play at 1024x768 mostly so don't matter much to m

Cost on the 6800GT is about ~$320 w/o tax, so judge the deal accordingly. (I got my from a friend of a co-worker who works at CUSA.)

Yes, dont expect the GT to get under the current prices for at least 6 months... I mean at this point they are still selling very well, eVGAs latest batch is already dwindling down again.

There are alot of Ultras to be had right now too but when they are sold out again Id expect them to go for $600 + on Ebay again.

Bottom line is the GT is still a coveted card and its in high demand.

This is a great price...it deserves its own thread.

Myself I am hoping to win a chance to buy/Step-up to an Ultra EE version from eVGA.

I have 2 PC shops near me and neither of them will gamble on buying any of these high end cards..they both think the risk outweights the profits and its true...they cost alot to buy and the profits are small.

Instead they both carry the last gen cards, 9800 Pros , 5900s etc. and will special order anything higher.

The Seagate 400GB drive is $238 shipped (plus tax) with the 15% off ($280 base price).

The black friday sale for it is $300 - $40 instant rebate - $30 mail in rebate. It's worth the $8 for me not to put up with a rebate, might worth it for you too.
