No, I called when I rec'd the email saying all rebates would be honored to clarify that Compusa was the company (not Iomega) that would honor the rebate. In other words, if our rebate form expires, Compusa will just issue a credit back to us. He said yes.
Then, on the 25th when I got my shipping notice, I called and spoke to the same person (made sure I got his name and direct ext from previous call) and told him my rebate form said Iomega had to receive the rebate form by 1-31-01 and that was impossible as Compusa just shipped my drive. He said no problem and issued me a $30 credit.
Today I called him again because I still haven't rec'd my drive and I wanted to verify with him whether he had issued my credit and he said yes, I did it on the 25th but it may take up to 10 days for it to show on my credit card.
