So I'm running the following:
P-4 2.4C
4 1GB sticks of PC3200 DDR (2 x Crucial, 2 x Corsair)
1x WD 100 GB, 1x WD 120 GB, 1 x WD 36 GB Raptor
NEC 16x DVD-RW
Antec Sonata w/380w Truepower
ATI 9800 Pro
Floppy, USB 2.0 3.5" Internal Card Reader, Coolermaster Aerogate II monitor
I added a P-4 3.0 a month ago that caused nothing but problems so I removed it- my old 2.4C worked fine but the computer became incredibly slow when booting. I went away immediately after so I didn't have time to reinstall Windows.
I came back this week and put in a new 200 GB hdd- it seemed to work fine but two hours ago the computer just hard crashed. I rebooted and it worked fine for an hour, then just switched itself off. Since then I've been unable to get it to work- it seems to boot up, all the fans spin, but nothing appears on the LCD screen. All I get is "no signal". I've disconnected all the hard drives (except boot) and the optical drive to see if it's the PSU, but no go.
Have I shorted my PSU somehow, or is it the video card? I'm at wit's end here- any help would be much appreciated.
