computer building guides?

i know anandtech's FAQ's are great...
but are there any online step by step system building guides?
i never built a system and it sounds like fun but i don't want to blow that 1800xp within 10 seconds if i mess something up
like maybe some do's/don't's guides?
help me please?

Remember to use a anti-static wrist band for the CPU. And your motherboard should be jumperless, if it has any voltage jumpers or any others "MAKE SURE YOU SET THESE RIGHT". If you don't you could hurt the CPU. Otherwise everything else should be rather easy. Just take your time and I am sure you won't have any problems.

Well I have built about half a dozen systems now and I've never used an anti-static band. I've had no problems. Just make sure you touch something metal (like the power supply) before you go digging around inside the case.

---think im gettin a wrist band... they are like $3 and you get $2 off for buying an AMD processor in newegg... why not?

btw im buying retail... by looking how fast the prices of processors are dropping now i might be able to pick up a throuogh-breed 1800xp maybe for around $130 2 months from now?

so for retail... everything is set up so i don't need to worry about ANYTHING... right?
