Computer Case Climate Control?

I am looking for a system that trades of between system noise and temp, conditioned on utilization level and performance.

The system input would include temp readings from various sensors (system + ambient), activity levels from components (CPU, GPU, Hard drive etc) and current fan speeds.

Depending on criteria (including noise levels which is usually proportional to fan speed) specified in software, the system would auto adjust the fan speeds to provide optimal cooling.

Any suggestions?

The only thing that fits your specs entirely is the mCubed line. Start with the mCubed T-Balancer bigNG and pick up extensions, more sensors, etc.

Very pricey but exactly what you want.

Thanks, while not really what I had in mind, its definitely in the right direction. Main issues seem to be with the software and USB implementation.

Any other suggestions?

That's about the most comprehensive package out there. Other than that, you're looking at how far the ESA program is going to go.

I am sorry I can't tell ya the parts I use.Truely I am sorry. But blabbing on the net. Isn't smart to many copy cats . Look at water blocks LOL.

But I can tell what I did . I use 2 quality Air temp gauges. You really only need 1.

Buy a guage that has Hi low alarm . Set your high and low were ya want them to . Than the signal that goes to the alarm can be rerouted to a speed controler for the fans. I am soory I can't list the parts I use . But thats life. With a little research you can find the fan controler that will work of the High temp V to the alarm . I hope this helps. Its vague I know. But it is one direction you can research.

That second post is pretty good. The thing is he states its expensive. Let me tell ya straight thats cheap . ! guage cost me more than that complete outfit. with all acc, LOL .

My reasoning is quality of resolution . If the sensors sender reciever are of poor resolution you won't be getting true temps. A quality high resolution sender reciever does not come cheap.

Seems I 'll have to go the DIY route. Nothing out there seems to meet my needs closely enough.
