Two clean installs of WinXP Pro and Ubuntu dual-boot. I'm trying to install WinXP SP2 but it keeps crashing (I know the file is good).
From my source computer and destination computer I'll the md5 checksum is correct. However when I boot into WinXP and run Cygwin -> md5sum it gives me wrong checksums every single time.
To be fair, it has crashed once in Ubuntu with a failed host controller warning but that hasn't popped up again yet.
I try to boot off the WinXP CD but it just stalls at the "System is checking computer configuration" page.
