I bought a corner unit almost 2 years ago when we moved into our new house. It's great. The room is about 10 x 10 (home office) at it fits nicely. I might have a pic ... 1 sec

i have a corner desk that i got from Office Depot but it sits in the living room. Once i move, i want to get an L desk for a seperate bedroom/den. I need more desk space and some drawers. I really like your desk Jumpr but I would need some drawers or maybe a small hutch that I can store items. otherwise, it would be too cluttered. Maybe a mix of Jumpr's and mcvickj"s desk...
Here is mine

ahh good call... I bought a glass one for the upstairs (we don't use the room or the desk really) on Black Friday 2003 from Staples... it's very sturdy/solid and was pretty cheap to begin with... this is itOriginally posted by: tami
if you want something slick looking, why don't you get a glass desk? staples has many on sale.

Yeah but when you a computer person you really don't know how to build your own computer desk. Its not like its as easy as building your own pc. Not saying all computer people don't know how just said some. How do you suppose to learn how to build a compuiter desk? I don't even know where to start. Wouldn't it cost a lot to get someone to just do it for you sense its custom made to your liking? Plus how do you even know how to design a desk ? I am not exactly sure what it should look like.
