I have been looking for the perfectg computer desk for months. Is it worth spending a lot of money on one ? (Like more than $200) Which one should I get please? Thanks.

I bought a corner unit almost 2 years ago when we moved into our new house. It's great. The room is about 10 x 10 (home office) at it fits nicely. I might have a pic ... 1 sec

keep in mind that's the messiest i've ever seen that area. it's usually neat-freak clean.

Pretty cool but I hate how with the pc tower you can't pull it out on a rolling thing or something to beable to get to the wires and I wish there was a perfect wire organizer solution but there really isn't. I looked at all the wire organizing things out there none of them I really liked or thought were perfect. I know you can still turn your pc tower around but you don't have that easy of access to it.

I got this one for my birthday last year. About $500, but worth every penny.

Bush Officepro, commercial quality desking system. Doesn't shake at all, heavy as sin and gives me plenty of room to spread out homework, computer parts and other stuff.

they're not cheap.. you don't want a flimsy one that shakes either. I have a solid one (that I could stand on top of even) and can't imagine using anything cheaper-feeling... but I got it free (my bro's company was chucking it). I'd say it's worth it if you find a good deal.

The desk I have is Here.

I love it...it's on the large size, but I wanted a corner desk with a deep desktop, so there was still desktop real estate between me and the monitor.

All of my previous desks were shallow in the corner or forced me to place the keyboard off to the side.

P.S. I'm not recommending the FurintureBuzz site, it just happens to be where I found a picture of the desk. I bought mine at Office Max for $350 (on sale) 4-5 years ago.

i have a corner desk that i got from Office Depot but it sits in the living room. Once i move, i want to get an L desk for a seperate bedroom/den. I need more desk space and some drawers. I really like your desk Jumpr but I would need some drawers or maybe a small hutch that I can store items. otherwise, it would be too cluttered. Maybe a mix of Jumpr's and mcvickj"s desk...

Here is mine

I have 2 of these. I like it beacuse I can keep my PC on top of the table. Which makes it really easy for me to make changes to my computer. I also switch out HDs. One for school use (testing) and another for my personal use.

So I basically have my PC on one desk, with the printer and scanner. While the other table has all of my books, notes, extra parts, and extra supplies just incase I need them.

Just put them in an L shape and all is good.

I have this and this in black. It works nice for me and looks clean with black/silver mouse and keyboard, etc.

if you want something slick looking, why don't you get a glass desk? staples has many on sale.

ahh good call... I bought a glass one for the upstairs (we don't use the room or the desk really) on Black Friday 2003 from Staples... it's very sturdy/solid and was pretty cheap to begin with... this is it

Yeah but when you a computer person you really don't know how to build your own computer desk. Its not like its as easy as building your own pc. Not saying all computer people don't know how just said some. How do you suppose to learn how to build a compuiter desk? I don't even know where to start. Wouldn't it cost a lot to get someone to just do it for you sense its custom made to your liking? Plus how do you even know how to design a desk ? I am not exactly sure what it should look like.

I'm no woodworker but its not rocketscience. Screws, boards, paint. Done. To have someone professional build what I wanted probably would have cost about $700+. I built what I wanted for around $300. By no means would I say it is perfect or all the cuts are exact but can't expect much from someone with limited tools.

I have one of these, used to have 2. Mine is a bit older tho and doesn't have the 'digital dock.' For the money I love this desk, it looks sharp and is pretty sturdy.
