Computer Desktop Pranks

Alright, I might be having a LAN party in the near future and I may want to have some fun. I know the basic pranks like hiding the folders and printing the screen... and saving it to the desktop... and putting pron and stuff on as the background.

However, I wanted to go one step FURTHER. I was reading a few months ago about setting the desktop to a certain background and then hacking the registry so that there is no option to change it without the person knowing how to hack the registry or reformating. Does anybody know what strings need to be modified and where?

Note that you must run NT or 2000 to do this...

I found that people fvcking with my box at lan parties gave me one more reason to bring a bat in the car. I hope no-one like me (who disdains people adjusting his box without my consent) is going to this lan party or you'll be leaving on crutches

I screwed my friend at work by changing his desktop once. I used his digital camera to take hella-zoomed pics of this girl's chest at school, then made a collage and put it as his wallpaper. I didn't know he would be taking it to work the next day. He booted it up and then went to the bathroom, and when he came back the supervisor was by his desk looking mighty upset.

Sadly, no, the supervisor stood over him as he deleted all of the pictures. My friend also wiped the flash card from his dc. It's a shame, that girl was racked.

Here's one but it requires a few different computers:

Use VNC Server which is an open source PC Anywhere type program. Load the server on some type of computer, like a Macintosh or a Solaris box. Then load the VNC viewer onto the person's computer you want to play a prank. Connect to the Macintosh computer and scare the hell out of them when they think you someone managed to turn their computer into a Mac

I did this to my boss once, he thought we seriously turned his production NT server into a Mac for a few minutes ... (Luckily he was pretty cool with the joke and didn't get mad at us)

It inverts the desktop. Any input from the mouse buttons exits the program. It's harmless but drives people mad!

I have a batch file that will generate a text file that expands exponentially in size until either the HDD is filled or the user CTRL-ALT-DEL's out of the process.

Put it on the victim's machine and put a shortcut to it in the startup folder with the properties adjusted to "run minimised".

NOTE: I do not assume any responsibility for any problems arising from such a program's use. I made the file in a bored moment when I wanted to play around and see if I could still remember batch file commands. I do not endorse the use of this file, and before anyone asks, I will not post it anywhere.
