Yep, just got it. I can live with getting caught up by Monday. They're only 1 FedEx day away from me which means Tuesday at latest.Originally posted by: AmberClad
Anyone else just get one of these e-mail from Geeks ?
I got 2 of the 7200XL cases today. The mounting for the BTX thermal module is standard and will fit the Intel heatsink. But the one in the Gateway case if far superior: it's solid copper and weighs about 30oz. Why would you want to replace it?Originally posted by: jvolino
Did anyone else buy the Gateway 7200 barebones? It's a BTX-type mobo and in looking at the details of the case it looks like the original Gateway PC used a non-standard CPU heat sink in conjunction with an air chute -- so it would be hard to use the normal "thermal module" that Intel designed for BTX boards. So I'm wondering what kind of CPU/heat sink setup I can safely use in here. Any ideas?
