I had a GTX 970 that was getting graphical anomalies. I was getting rows of dots running down the monitor vertically then moving from the right to the left of the screen. The problem existed even after changing monitors, DVI cables and even happened when I installed that GPU into another computer. For all intensive purposes that GPU is dead and has been RMAed.
While I wait for the new card I have installed an older card I had laying around and now that one seems to be getting subtle anomalies as well. On occasion random green pixels(same color as the ones from the 970) will appear on my welcome page, however when change to the desktop the pixels go away. It's very subtle and random(but so was the 970 issue at first)
What if anything could be killing my graphics cards? My power supply seems stable according to HWInfo but I don't have a physical PSU tester to plug it into.
