Computer Lockup

I just finished putting together my friend's new computer.
And for some reason unknown to me, it constantly locks up.
No Error Messages, No sounds, just stops working.
It seems to happen when i use her computer on our network, she is connected wirelessly with a D-link wireless router.
Is it possible that her network connection could freeze up her whole PC?
Is there any known problems with these Wireless cards?

Ok, i have found out, that right before it freezes up, my network will drop completely.
Her Computer dissconnects and freezes when i am sharing files between computers.

but where Id really start would be Start > Run > eventvwr.msc
both system and application check warnings and errors

Id also toss a few performance logs on the desktop with Samurize

left edge is a cpu% mem% (also a temp w\ speedfan meter) tossed that on a 1.2GHz box to keep her aware of its multitasking limitations in realtime,

Performance monitors do have overhead but in samurize your able to set a sample rate in the Project Options Tab (far right upper corner in the edit Config File window) and you can turn the thing on and off with a simple click on the icon in the taskbar. There is also an Instance manager so you can run more than one config at a time, each can have its own sample rate. There also just logging directly start > run > perfmon.msc > help (same native monitors samurize uses)


Id pull the connection to the NIC and verify its stable without a network
and work from there based on the error log

(The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).


The browser was unable to retrieve a list of servers from the
browser master \\FLYING-2DFE870C on the network
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{3A907A41-59A0-458D-8321-146A19FD2B2B}. The data is the error code.

The name "APARTO :1d" could not be registered on the Interface
with IP address 192.168.254.2.
The machine with the IP address 192.168.254.1
did not allow the name to be claimed by this machine.



I found these errors relating to my network in the Events, but it makes little sense to me.
I can connect this PC to my network and surf and DL some things for a time, but then it drops and freezes.
