It's okay, she's an android, she's rated to handle that temp and draw power from CMOS batteries.

LMAO! Reminds me of when I had my face close to the circuit board I was soldering and rubbed my damn chin against the fuckin' soldering iron.

Here's a classic.

the first link:
"yes lets pay more to fix that old board while going though hell sourcing the parts then what new one would cost with the cpu + memory."

The second link:
"My fingers are made of adamantium, see a 450C soldering iron doesn't phase my fingers. "

this picture is quite famous...

http://captaincapitalism.blogspot.com/2016/03/how-not-to-get-women-in-stem.html

and no, u can clearly see the scorched marks on the iron where she is gripping.
you grab at the plastic part.

well also not to mention she is also soldering the wrong side of board... lol.
Figures.

As a previous fattie in life, I have hands that vibrate... well... probably better than a woman's vibrator. That's part of the reason I never trusted myself in life with a soldering iron.

Even in my younger yeats of modding my Xbox when I was 13 i opted to get the solderless version.

A while back on another forum there was a thread about these silly images, so I had made my own to make fun of them:

I should try to sell that to a stock image site, they might actually take it lmao.

Terribly calibrated scope is the icing on the cake. That's what the torque wrench is for.

While I was a "Certified Apple Technician" in the late '80s , I got sent on a service call to a junior high. The problem was described as "printing yellow". Someone had put a stack of light yellow paper in the feed tray !

You still took four hours to fix it right?

I would mark that down as 8 hours. You want to make sure they get billed good for it.

If only you could charge per hour when doing work for people. Some don't realize just how much time it can take for certain things, especially clean installs, having to backup everything, then having to find all the drivers, then having to restore data, reconfigure programs/profiles etc.

I avoid it as much as I can now, I noticed more and more windows 8 and 10 machines surfacing. Working on those is like pulling teeth. I freaken hate windows now days. Just such a terrible user experience. I usually offer to put windows 7 and they're happy, but I've run into machines that won't take it.

A little bit of lube goes a long way, in a pinch you can always use mayo. Gonna have to trust me on that one

A lot of the time is down time, where you're just waiting for stuff to happen. I'd feel guilty charging all that time. I basically do computer work as a favor, so no money's involved. Don't think I'd want to do it as a business, though that wasn't always the case.

Windows is just a miserable shitty experience. There's literally nothing it does right as far as maintenance goes. It takes forever to do anything, and it beats up the hardware like a red headed step child. Running updates is like it's rendering 3d models in the background. CPU is grinding, hd is grinding, fetching packages is glacial... I don't understand why it's so bad. MS isn't incompetent afaict. They do some good work, but some of it is alpha quality software :^/

LOL yeah why does windows take so long just to update, never understood what it can possibly be doing that it would take so long. Super crappy inefficient code I guess. There's lot of stuff like that in general that annoys me so much in windows now that I'm on Linux. I don't realize how bad it is till I try to go use it again.

One thing that would piss me off the most if it was my daily driver is the forced updates in 10, I don't know how people just put up with that. It is MY computer (well technically it's not, there's probably a clause in the EULA about that), I want to be the one that controls it, not it controlling me.

See the problem is you're using a Siglent scope. Try Listerine instead.
