Hello!
yesterday I installed .NET 3.5 to use 2DF
that's the only thing I can think of
today I go to turn it on and it reboots every minute. If I disable automatic restarts I get a blue screen saying to free up HDD space or change back the configuration. I didn't change anything that I know of
so I go to safe mode and it works okay, no reboot problems, so it's not a hardware issue. Then when I leave safe mode the problem comes back. If I boot using "last known working configuration" it works again and will display a "windows recovered from a serious error" window.
BUT.. the problem will come back if I restart without going through the F5 -> boot with last known working configuration procedure...
I guess I can live with this problem without reformatting but it's annoying and I would like to know the cause of this problem.
Plus every time I do the last config setting, my display config changes to a weird rez and refresh rate, so I have to change that constantly too
TIA!
I am on XP.
Thanks again.
Tom.
