Ok..here's a question to bounce off all of you. If I wanted to relocate my 3 machines away from my workstation (~10+ ft), does anyone know of a enclosure available that would suit such a purpose? I don't want to just sit them on the floor, or put them on a freestanding table...id like something more discrete or purpose built. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? Buying a small server cabinet and throwing the pc's in 2/4U cases is not an option. Thanks!

So you don't want them to rest on the floor, nor do you want them to sit on a free standing table.

I am not sure what you are asking for then. I know one guy who built a utility closet in the corner of the room, the PCs were behind the lower door, and the exhaust was vented directly out the window, but if you don't want a free standing table, not sure how you feel about an entire closet being built out.

Yeah thats kinda the idea I was going for, just didn't know if solutions like that were premade. My wife is a pottery barn fanatic, and every room (including my pc room) have to fit a certain design standard in her eyes. So wasn't sure if there was some sort of multi-purpose cabinet or something out there. Guess ill just have to keep searching and keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the help

Pottery Barn used to make desk components like a PC cabinet with a door, and 3 of these components would fit under a table top piece. It came in white or mahogeny I believe. Not sure if they are still available, but that might work.

*I used to work for Williams-Sonoma.

Bedford collection it was called, but they appear to no longer have the cabinets with doors.

SilentZero, what are the specs for your three systems and what do you use them for? Perhaps you can make them more "palatable" while staying at your workspace?

build it yourself?

that's high school woodshop right there... though added the door later. since taking the pic it's been updated again, adding shelves inside the desk extension and moved the xbox inside. it has a constant exhaust from a 250mm fan in the back.
