Computer will not reboot

As the topic states, my system will only reboot if I shut down and cold boot. Restart from windows or hitting the reset button only results in a black screen. I'm thinking it is either from a weak PSU, my recent O/Cing, or a combination of the both. Comp is prime95 stable and does not spontaniously reboot or freeze up at all. System is watercooled, so temps are not an issue. Any reccomendations as to the cause are welcome.

SPECS:
MSI K9N SLI PLATINUM
4200+ @ 2840 (284 x 10)
1 Gig WINTEC AMPX Ram(2 x 512 in dual channel) Timings relaxed far enough to not be a factor.
XFX 7900GS at stock speed
PSU is an Aerocool Turbine 550.
Dual 36 gig Raptors in Raid 0
Pioneer slot load DVD
Samsung DVD+R

If you think that your recent overclocking could be causing it, why don't you try running at stocks speeds and seeing if you still have the problem?

I think I had the opposite of your problem once before: my computer would restart even if I told it to shut down. I've never run into your problem before, but I did a google search and found a couple people who had the same problem and were able to fix it.

1. Someone had both an AGP and PCI video card installed, and their motherboard didn't like it. Obviously from your system description, that's not it.

2. Someone else fixed the problem by flashing to the latest mobo BIOS.

hmmm.....it seems that dropping the FSB from 185 to 180 has seemed to solve the problem, though I don't know why. I was also able to drob the CPU voltage from +0.35 to +0.25, although that didn't seemed to make any difference with the reboot problems.
