Computer will not restart, anyone have a clue?

I have a 1.3 t-bird that boots into windows. The problem is when I attempt to restart when the machine is overclocked. I overclocked to 1400 (133X 10.5) just to see if I could duplicate the problem at a modest overclock. It happened, machine locked up after windows exited. It took a hard reset of the power switch to kill the machine. I started it up again and machine went into default mode (10 X 100). I have an Asus A7v133 MB, 2 X 128 Mushkin rev 3 ram, Beefed up HSF on the northbridge and an OFIO Gen tech HSF on processor. Processor temps hover around 50-52 C when running. Seems a tad warm to me though. I ordered a Swiftech MC462 HSF yesterday. Thinking maybe my processor running to hot.

Incidently, this 1.330 is an AXIA that I have have run at 1.540. Ran 3d mark a few time at this setting with success, however machine did not want to restart.

Make sure the CPU is properly seated in the slot.

Do you have an SBLive and Win98?

If so, these should fix your problem:

Enable LPT Interrupt Sharing in the Creative SB16 Emulation Device in the device manager.

Set IRQ 5 Reserved to Yes in PCI/PNP Resource Exclusion list in the BIOS OR
Disable the Creative SB16 Emulation in the device manager.

Disable Legacy USB in the BIOS.

The problem may be with the voltage facility in jumperless mode- the A7V has this problem. Set the voltage manually with the jumpers and see.
