Ok this is crazy, please help me.
It started yesterday, I left my comp on and went out for a couple hours, when I got back it was frozen on the first bios screen(shows energy star in the top right corner). I get a little nervous, reboot and it loads into windows fine (XP)
So I open up photoshop and notice that it opened up extremely slow, I check my ram and it only detected 256 instead of 512, so I reboot and now it only detected 32MB of ram. So shutdown pull out my ram, blow em off a little and put em back in and turn it on and the bios detects it fine, but after it shows the "loading windows xp" screen I get that blue error that says something like "windows will be shutdown to prevent damage to the computer (or whatever it says"
So I reboot again and again keep getting that error. Then I disable "virus guardian" in the bios and try to boot up that way but it then freezes and says "virus guardian is disabled, press space to enable or g to disable" and I press stuff and nothing works, I am totally frozen
help me please
