I had very bad RMA experience with Computergeeks also, will never let them scr*w me again!!

That funny.. I didn't think the experience was so bad, I considered it positive on the whole. Perhaps if I ever have to deal with their RMA dept. thing might change, I dunno. Sorry if you've been wronged by them in the past; sounds like you might have.

No, I've never shopped there. I can tell that their products are shoddy and they look cheap in all the pictures so I'm not taking any chance with them!

That all depends. I've had good success with them on name brand products. As far as the generic stuff, you sort of pays your money and takes your chances. Some of it's good, some not so good.

I've ordered quite a few things over the past 4 or 5 years...

Everything I have got was what I ordered. They left something out on one order (that showed included in the box) and promptly shipped it out the next day. No questions asked.

No complaints here.

It's true.. their RMA department rather sucks.. but otherwise they are a decent place to buy stuff. I've bought cases, speakers, and other stuff from them before. Only had to RMA one thing, but the experience wasn't all too bad. I'd buy from them when I see good prices, but I wouldn't buy big expensive things I don't think.

Well, I see that you're quite clearly the objective one. :roll: Anything that "looks 'cheap' in a picture", on a web site, clearly, it must be junk.

But one man's "junk", is another man's treasure. If you're buying from a surplus dealer, then caveat emptor certainly applies, but that doesn't mean that it'sl bad product.

(At this point I should probably mention, I ordered a pair of those slotket S370 Tualatin converters for $5ea - unlike what I was expecting, I didn't see any signal-voltage adjustment chip on the board, as I thought that proper converters have. Haven't tried them yet, but I question if they will work. Just a word to the wise to anyone else thinking of purchasing them.)
