No, computers can only do what they're told. Someone had to program that bug in (though I'm sure it was accidental.)
Well, technically, to make a mistake you must have some preconceived goal or desirable endpoint. How can a computer make a mistake if it has no comprehension of such?

The most stupid thing about BSODs, apart from having no error messages at all, is having such long error messages that either the system reboots before the user gets it all down or the user just CBF getting anything down because it's a huge wall of text with questionable relevance to anything.Hate the dumbed down BSODs since XP.
