Conan O'Brien Slammed for Tweet About Muslim women superhero

Conan O'Brien recently came under fire for posting a tweet about Marvel's new Muslim superhero. Many Twitter users found his attempt at a joke "racist" and offensive, and the backlash was so extreme that O'Brien deleted the tweet.

Before it was deleted, the tweet read: "Marvel Comics is introducing a new Muslim Female superhero. She has so many more special powers than her husband's other wives."

I have seen a few people make jokes about this new superhero such as colbert.

I am more bothered by the fact they are using the same name yet making her totally different then what she was in the comics as that's the bigger travesty.

This is Ms.Marvel and not what they are trying to throw out there now by being racial sensitive and making her a female version of Reed Richards but more annoying by making her a teen:

Why express your discontent at a relative unknown? Go for the big one that lots of people like.

Doesn't really matter when the religion he's insulting calls for DEATH for apostasy and calls for DEATH for people who mock Mohammed and calls for DEATH for anyone who opposes them.

The fact that someone spoke out against them leads some of them to riot which causes weak minded pussies to give in to the fear tactics that their religion needs in order to function.

Different people take on the persona all the time. Bruce Wayne isn't even Batman anymore in some of the comics.

But you would be fine if they relaunch batman as a 12 year old kid that can go invisible?

That's what marvel essentially did here.

I don't care if you cast a new character to take the place of the hero / villain as that's done often, robin becoming batman in some comics and such as bruce gets old, but to make everything new is the issue and you might as well just call her ms.fantastic based on her powers.
